  • Easy Vegetarian Lasanga

    Style 1 cropped

Lasagna is family comfort food at its finest! A great way to get vegetables in a larger amount is with a vegetarian dish - as you are 'encouraged' to use more vegetables then normal in replacement for meat. This vegetarian lasagna is a favourite in our house, nice and soft for little mouths with enticing bubbling cheese on top!

    500 grams pumpkin

1 and 1/2 cups of spinach (fresh or...

  • Sugar Free Hot Cross Buns

I have been wanting to create a sugar-free hot cross bun recipe for a while now. After reading 100s of recipes and also including what I love most about these Easter treats I have finally done this!

    Buns Boosted

I love a fluffy bun at Easter time but I just really don’t like sultanas and so many have these in them! Also dried fruit does still contain sugar from fructose – I found this amazing product called...

  • Toddler Friendly Prune Smoothie

I have created this smoothie just for little monkeys who are going through toilet training and maybe reluctant to drink water and/or are experiencing being 'backed' up and constipated. It's a problem that is not really wonderful dinner time conversation but it is really common. This is more so in children who do have a lot of processed foods or going through a fussy stage of eating and refusing...

    Ingredients:

1 Block of dark chocolate (I use Lindt 90% but if you are still getting used to dark chocolate I would go for 75-85%)

    Directions:

    1. Place...

Hard to beat a good iceblock on a hot summers day!! Kids love crackers and they make great finger food. This is my super easy recipe for homemade cheese crackers which means they are completely free of any sugar, additives and preservatives. Best of all they are great fun to make - just be prepared for flour to go everywhere!

    2015-11-29 15.54.10
