Chocolate Avocado Brownie
by Julie Bhosale
Food is my love language and my latest creation has been made with just that, a lot of love....plus a few of my all time favourite ingredients, coconut oil, avocado, walnuts. This recipe only uses a bit of honey for some sweetness so go on, treat yourself (I licked the spoon and the bowl!).
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
2 tbs of coconut oil
2 tbs coconut flour
1/4 cup of...

Valentines Day is coming up! I know that it is super commercialised now but hey in the busyness of life, especially with children, it does not hurt to have a decent excuse to put some time into those that you love, especially your partner.
I actually created this recipe when Smushie was a newborn and I was often up late at night feeding him....little monkey still likes a middle of the night feed!

Coconut and Date Truffles
by Julie Bhosale
Truffles hmmmm say no more!! This latest creation of mine is just in time for Christmas and makes a great alternative to the normal high sugar, low nutrient truffles - to be honest they taste like mini mouthfuls of Snickers Bars and make for a great bliss ball snack too - without all the refined sugar!!
Super simple to make (no baking required) you children will love helping you make...

Simple Coconut Flour Cookies
by Julie Bhosale
My latest baking experiment is soooo simple to make, and only uses a little bit of honey for sweetness.

These cookies are made from
coconut flour. Coconut flour is made from coconut solids which have been ground into a very fine powder. This product is increasingly being sold in health food shops and your local supermarkets. It is a great
gluten-free alternative to normal flour.
These little...

Apricot Coconut and Nut Balls
by Julie Bhosale
I got the creative urge this afternoon to experiment in the kitchen. So I got together a few ingredients with the idea of coming up with a new snack that provided a good source of protein and essential fatty acids....Master 2 was happy playing with his new toy truck we sourced from a toy hire place so I grabbed the few precious minutes I would have spare and as you can see the end result is pretty...

Super Simple Banana Muffins
by Julie Bhosale
We were out of our supply of snacks so this morning I whipped up these super simple banana muffins. When I say this morning it was more like crack of dawn as Arjun was awake at 5.30am this morning - so what better activity on a cold, dark morning than to do some baking together. Well, I mainly did the mixing while Arjun watched with his lions and books but he was still involved :)

When we came home...

Guilt-Free Chocolate Cake
by Julie Bhosale
Cake is one of my weaknesses (we all have them) and this is a recipe I created after desperately searching for an easychocolate cake recipe that was not laden with flour and refined sugar but also had everyday ingredients - and being frustrated that I could not find anything. I would still call this a treat but this one you do not need to feel guilty about as it is grain-free, refined sugar free...

Chocolate Coconut Balls!
by Julie Bhosale
Created this recipe when I was looking for a treat to make for a mummy’s movie night in with one of my MBFFS (mummys best friends forever). So I whipped up these chocolate morsels – which are free of refined sugar, gluten and dairy. I had a child begging for dinner at the time so these literally took five minutes. They look so good I thought it would mean not to share the recipe with all of you!
