Absolutely love this recipe book! As soon as it arrived I got to cooking. We’ve been enjoying yum recipes for the lunch box and delicious dinners. I love how each dinner can be tweaked to suit baby too. Just what I needed for my busy family of 5.
Jelena Z.
My favorite cook book even if I don't make the exact recipe I still look at it for inspiration. Love slow cooker meals! Especially quinoa with beans yum!
Porsha L.
Amazing book, we love how simple and family friendly it is! Highly recommend.
Jenny F.
Absolutely love Dr Julie’s book. This is the 3rd one I have bought. Baby and toddler was my first after reading the Nourished Baby. Feed my tribe has helped me with more ideas with my one year old. We just made the carrot and cheese loaf and he absolutely loved it wanting more. Couldn’t rate these books any higher, highly recommend
Rachel H.
LOVING the Feed the Tribe book! A friend loaned me the baby & toddler book which has some now well-used recipes at our house. As the kids are growing, and the feeding never seems to stop (!), I'm finding these new recipes provide good variety and new ideas for healthier options for my family... especially enjoying the snacks! Plus, I love that it supports a fellow kiwi mum doing amazing work... thank you!!
Gina H.
I needed inspiration as I was sick of my cooking! This book is great,
Lots of fresh new yummy recipes!
Anna F.
The Feed the tribe cook book has been on my Wishlist for sooo long & so excited to try all the delicious recipes ♥️

Sunday afternoon cooking session. Trying to help my daughter and her family out with a family of 4 children and the winter sports term about to kick off. I also stock up for my husband and I nice feeling when you feel ahead of the game. I love the column of veges in the recipes.
Maree P.
I bought this book for my daughter in law who was thrilled to receive it. Such speedy delivery too
Hannah B.
Made the rhubarb and apple crumble tonight. Absolutely delicious. Did have to substitute a couple of items. Had no lemon but had lime juice in the fridge. No almond flour but almond meal and then substituted myself and had my other half finish it off for me while I tried to settle a distraught five month old boy.
Chelsea K.
Beautiful recipes kids are having fun baking and cooking .
Sophie G.
My little toddler is helping blitz the nut-free omega balls and o my goodness are they Amazing!!! Perfect healthy treat for my pregnant self as well! We also love the Homemade Curry paste! We will never go back to store brought again! The baby & toddler cookbook was my absolute bible these past two years but I think this is my new fave! Thank you Julie
Caroline L.
The book is very personally written, which is a nice change to instructional cook books. I like the practical pace and acknowledgement of the cooking spaces and what to prepare while food is cooking. So nice to have a guide to help feel confident feeding young children.
Amy M.
Love our new cookbook! Have already made a few recipes and have the groceries ordered with a few more to try for next week! There are so many we can’t wait to try :)
Anelle B.
I love the recipes! They are quick and easy and the critics (kids) love them
Olivia C.
We use this recipe book every week for family meals. They are so delicious. All of the snacks are great too and we use regularly for daycare and school lunch boxes.
Anna S.
I haven’t opened an actual physical cookbook in years. I use this one weekly. I love it, the boys love it, it’s truly changed how and what we eat x
Jacinta R.
Lots of amazing recipes for the family, healthy nutritious and easy to make!
Ella Q.
Really enjoying this cookbook so far - lots of easy, family friendly ideas. I’ve been following Julie’s advice with both my kids starting solids through to toddler years so very happy to see she has a cookbook now, looking forward to enjoying more of these delicious recipes!
Liz F.
My daughter has this recipe book.
When I stayed with her I made several things out of this and it was so easy and the ingredients easy to get!
Great recipes I have brought one for a gift for a friend !!!
Nicola T.
I bought this book for my daughter in law (by request). My son and family are living in Christchurch. I live in the uk, so l haven't seen the book. They love the book very much, they love the recipes, and the fact that they can make meals to suit them all. Their son is loving his food big time.
Thank you.
Nicole S.
Really looking forward to some new breakfast ideas for baby and toddler. Full of family easy recipes, just love it!
Sarah W.
Purchased recently. Have already made Arjun's blender pancakes multiple times. So many delicious recipes in here that I am looking forward to making. Awesome cookbook.
Michelle P.
Received my book last week and love it. Already made the immune ice blocks, the power juice and chocolate gummies which are a huge hit with my 3 and 5 year olds :) Many more recipes have been tagged to try soon
Marie P.
So excited to receive this book as I have well and truly thrashed (and loved) all the recipes in the baby and toddler cookbook! So many exciting new snacks and meals to try, the first one I made today the pumpkin loaf has been a hit with both 1yr old and fussy 3yr old!
Kate v.
Yum Chicken goulash so easy and can make into baby food too! Also made the stir fry sauce yummy and put 2 jars of it in the freezer. Love recipes that you can put in the freezer for later without heaps of effort. Looking forward to trying more from this book (only had it a week )
Mandy W.
I have three young boys, the youngest being three months old. During this busy time I need a collection of healthy trusted recipes that would nourish our family and make meal planning a breeze.
My toddler has already helped me bake the chickpea choc chip cookies and they were delicious!
Thanks for all your hard work Julie!! You are making a difference in so many lives
Lesleyd W.
I purchased for my daughter in Invercargill. She had seen it advertised and had purchased a signed copy for her sister in law, Joanne, for Christmas.
She then mentioned to me that she would really have liked to have a copy of the book for her own use.
So I purchased her a copy. She has 2 children aged 15 months and 5 years.
She plans to make family meals they all can eat and utilise the recipes that have hidden vegetables in them for her fussy toddler.
Lesley

Great purchase!! Highly recommend this book. Thank you Julie, just what I needed. Amazing lunch box ideas :)
Maria N.
Love how easy and delicious these recipes are thank you sooo much for making my life easier and making me feel like a super mum
Andrea M.
First of all, I received the book less than 24 hours after I ordered it online and this was the week between Christmas and New Years. So many wonderful recipes. I’ve already made some already. Yummy and healthy. I will have fun working my way through this book. I love how the main meals can all be adjusted to feed a baby starting solids and there’s ideas for bulk meals too. Excellent and practical!!!
Lauren C.
Absolutely love these books! I wanted to do things different for my youngest baby boy as my eldest son is not a great eater. Reading 'The Nourished Baby' before his solids journey got underway was the best thing as it gave me knowledge and understanding of babies and their little developing tummies. My confidence to cook more exciting and flavour-full baby food grew. My wee man is the best eater and is thriving. I will be forever grateful for Julie and her amazing work. Thank you!
Viviana B.
Love the book so far. I only made 2 of the recipes but it looks promising. I have only one child (2 year old) and she’s very picky. I’m hopeful she will like the recipes.. A friend recommended me dr Julie’s book but this is the first one I purchased.
Jodene V.
This book is bursting with ideas that are not only tasty but healthy too. I made the good’ol chocolate crackle and this was a huge hit (so simple to make!!). I can’t wait to try more recipes and experiment when our little member starts their food journey.
Katherine R.
I have gotten so much use out of this cookbook, I think I made at least recipe a day for the first week! It definitely has helped me get me motivated in the kitchen again after a slump. More than just recipes, ideas on meal prep too and how to get the kids more involved with cooking.
Holly H.
In the three weeks I have had this incredible cookbook I have used it more than the other 20 cookbooks I own put together. It is exactly what I needed to feed my family nourishing meals and we have all loved every recipe we have tried. Now pizza night means my kids eat half a cauliflower each - amazing. Thank you!
Karisa P.
Another great book from Dr Julie! Delicious ideas from baby food right through to lunchboxes.
Jade W.
Love this book! Simple and no fuss family meals that are suitable for everyone. My one-year-old loves pancakes on a Sunday. Highly recommend for any busy mum or dad looking for nutritious meals that don't take all day in the kitchen.
Justine C.
Lovely recipes, the children are enjoying the meals and baking
Jasmine H.
Such an awesome cookbook, my 18 month old and 5 year old enjoy helping me make many of the recipies. Each week I'm making lots of these recipies. Currently have a good freezer stash: beetroot bliss balls, chocolate omega balls, apricot oat muffins, veggie drops, pumpkin loaf, and more all ready to pull out at short notice to fill lunch-boxes and hungry tummies!
Katrina K.
Just made our first recipe, its gone down well. Looking forward to trying more soon.
Jane K.
Love the meal recipes in the book, great way to get veggies into the kids, and we all love the taste of the meals.
Lynise K.
I love this book! Not only me - my 5 year old has carried this book around reading it and choosing recipes he wants to do. We have done 3 so far and they have all been amazing and eaten up! Amazing work Dr. Julie - to create such amazing things with busy mum life really does show how much passion and dedication that goes into your mahi .. Ngā mihi mahana
Sarah G.
Have had this book only a few days but already tried at least five recipes. This is one of her best books so far with a great diverse range of recipes and some real winners for our “tribe”. Thanks Julie - looking forward to working through the rest of the book!
Liselle K.
I love the variety of recipes that this cookbook offers, nearly every page has been bookmarked!
Amy H.
Lovely and practical. Just as much a dress as a tunic. I have worn with a slip as a dress and with a singlet underneath with black jeans. One of my favourite pieces
Lisa R.
Such a lovely book with great and easy to make recipes! Have loved making so many recipes already and have lots more to explore!!
Irina S.
Our first attempt at home-made steak and kidney pie. We liked how it turned out and our little one even tried to climb on the kitchen bench and eat the crust from the left-over pies.
Sarah S.
Great recipes. The pumpkin bread is delicious!
Brooke G.
Love the new cookbook Julie! So many awesome recipes for healthy, nutritious food. Just what I needed to make my toddlers lunchbox not look like Groundhog Day, and some great dinner ideas the whole family can enjoy! Already made the cauliflower pizza twice! Thank you so much for providing recipe books that I always reach for first!!
Michelle J.
Easy to read recipes great for whole family.
Kerry-Anne A.
I love Dr Bhosale! I'm following her starting solids book with my second child now. We made the slow cooker chilli from FTT last night and it was approved by both the 4 year old and 7 month baby.
Brianna T.
Great recipe book with easy to follow quick and tasty recipes! The most important test is toddler approval which it's got for every recipe so far!
Hannah S.
Amazing book filled with simple & creative new ideas for my toddler & family. Looking forward to trying lots of new recipies!
Samantha T.
Great cookbook! Have started making a few things. I look forward to making many more as I accumulate more of the pantry staples for dairy free cooking and baking!
holly g.
Great baking and meal ideas that are delicious!
Michelle W.
This Pulse Pasta pie was a hit! Will be making this again. I also added in grated carrot for extra veges and served with green salad! Was super easy to make and little ones and the big ones loved it. Thanks Julie x
Ellie B.
I made the chickpea cookies! They were such a hit with my 3 kiddies!! They were all gone in 2 days!! Love having healthy options for afternoon tea that the kids devour!
Alana M.
This book is fantastic!!
Within 2 hours mr.9 had marked off 25 recipes, and so far in a week we have tried 5.
The "lockdown balls" are like the book said, as fast as they are made they are consumed.
It is such a great all round cookbook that has truly put us all out of our comfort zone, but we are not sad!!!
Well done Dr Julie and team.
Marija M.
Amazing book! Amazing recipes! Thanks Julie x
Amy S.
My family is really enjoying trying out all the gorgeous recipes in feed the tribe. It has been a great addition to our household and my boy is a big fan of the various bread recipes. This is a photo of the paneer and pea curry I made from the book and it was delicious!
Amy W.
We absolutely love your book! I'm surprised that even my 16 year old son loves the recipes. My one year old son starts daycare tomorrow and I planned to make a whole lot of recipes from your toddler cook book, however we're told that we cant, as it contains Almond flour. (No nuts whatsoever at daycare) but I see in 'feed the tribe' that there are plenty of other recipes I can do for him that are healthy. I have in the picture your beautiful banana/coconut loaf and the cheesy drops, which I added kkale to and the whole family loved them. I have also made your lamb shanks and Chicken goulash (I also added carrots and leaf for extra veggies) and it was ddelicious. I an so happy I purchased a copy of your book. Congratulations and thank you.
Adam C.
Julie hits it out of the park again. Great mix of options and ways to add quality nutrients in (and the simple explanations for why and the extra tips for adding more by tweaking the iingredients always helpful)and with easy to use and find ingredients. I find using some recipes as a base and tweaking in my own options with what I have on hand a win too. Thanks for your mahi Julie!
Natasha S.
I think I am in love with this cookbook! Everything I’ve made so far has been great - wholesome but still full of flavour for the whole family. So happy it arrived during lockdown when I was desperately short of new food ideas. I think this is Julie’s best yet.
Keryn P.
Honey bread for the win! Adelia LOVES to cook in the kitchen & talks about being a chef or baker one day ... She will always eat more if she is involved in process & gets a real buzz out of seeing what she has created!
Kim L.
This is the 3rd book I have bought and just love everything about the recipes, healthy, tasty and easy. My grandson really enjoys helping to mix and literally lick the bowl. Thanks so much Dr Julie
Magdalena L.
Happy cooking
Victoria B.
I have been waiting for Dr Julie’s latest addition to her incredible book collection for so long! I’ve loved knowing I have educated, honest, healthy support from an authentic and everyday Mum in how I choose to feed my young children. Ever since my eldest was not even on solids, I’ve relied on the wisdom and science behind Dr Julie’s advice and have consistently used her recipes to feed my own tribe. They are easy meals that I can pre-make which is how this household functions and yet so delicious. I can’t pick a fav! And she just keeps getting better and better. Feed the Tribe is jam-packed full of amazing food and I can’t wait to try them all. I don’t take many food pics but this pumpkin and choc chip loaf was the first recipe I tried and now it’s a firm favourite. Thank you Dr Julie
Hazel A.
Absolutely love this cookbook. Makes life so much easier when you have a children with allergies. Recipes are easy to follow and everyone in my tribe love every one we have made so far
Lucille S.
Healthy, simple recipes for the whole family to enjoy and a fun way for the kids to be involve during food prep and cooking.
Annabel C.
I really like how the recipes are easy to make and quick (some of them are only 1 bowl), healthy for our kids! Our family enjoyed making the Pancakes together, so cool they have oats instead of flour- kept them feeling fuller. Thanks we are big fans of Dr Julie’s cookbooks.
Gemma S.
I wanted to make everything all at once! I love this book so many great ideas to get more veges into the whole family but especially our 2 yr old as it’s very hard to get him to eat anything at all, this book has given me back some confidence to just try things with him and let him be involved more with the preparation of his food (he loves to be in the kitchen).
Lydia L.
Love the chocolate gummies recipe!
Sarah M.
The recipes are great and such amazing variety! Made the korma paste and curry and it was delicious! And a massive long list of things still to make! Only thing is I find the prep and cook time a little on the short side, either Julie is super speedy or I’m slow - probably a combo of both
Hayley K.
I have one word to describe Dr. Julies new book. YUM.
Ive made a few of the recipes now and omg. They have all turned out SO good and are so quick and easy to make.
My favorite so far has to be the cafe style mushrooms.
YUM.
Shannon B.
Chocolate mug cake with a little choc mousse, thoroughly enjoyed as an afternoon treat for mum
Ashleigh O.
Love this book so much!!!
All the recipes look amazing, I've made a couple of things so far and can't wait to make more!
Your amazing Julie and I think your a super woman!!
Thanks so much!
Casey L.
I own all of Dr Julie's cookbooks and love them but this is the best one yet! I can't wait to make my way through all the recipes in it!
Suzee P.
Amazing book with simple, nutritious and hearty recipes. I have made the oat and honey loaf, pea and paneer korma with the spice paste, breakfast bars, creamy mushrooms and my own twist of the steak and kidney pie! My toddler and partner are in heaven! Such a great team to deal with too, with personal contact being made by a staff member to clarify a purchase. Gifted one to a good friend of mine in the UK as well as my lovely neighbour, both with hungry boys!
Claire L.
So excited to get this book, and it has not disappointed. Love the how recipes are filled with everyday ingredients normally in my pantry. Made cheese crackers tonight, not sure they will last till the kids wake in the morning, delish wee snack!!
Stephanie H.
Loving the easy to please recipes that save time doing in bulk and freezing! So handy for this time poor working mum of two littlies.
Tania J.
Nutritious, easy to follow recipes to feed the tribe. Love the helpful notes and how the ingredients meet different dietary needs. I'm looking forward to baking with veggies...
Clare C.
Easy to make and so healthy. My 3yr old son enjoys making everything with me and loves eating them too of course.
Monica D.
This is another great cookbook from Dr. Julie. Thanks so much Julie for the fab recipes. Tried the macaroni cups (that's what we're calling them at home anyway) and was surprised our toddler loved them! Husband really enjoyed them too. Keep up the good work Julie; I'll look forward to your next recipe book please.
Cilie H.
I’m so excited to finally have this book! I’m most excited about the breakfast section! Breakfast is a super special time in our family as it’s the only time we get to eat together. It’s super exciting to have a bunch of new recipes to try! ❤️
Gillian W.
Loving your latest cookbook Julie!
I made the pancakes the day after receiving it and they were a hit. So much so I had to make a double batch to feed my tribe of boys. I’ve made the slow cooker chilli, banana & coconut loaf and pumpkin chocolate chip loaf so far and all have been a hit.
Monique C.
Another amazing book, thank you Dr Julie! Your recipes are quick, easy, delicious and most importantly nutritious. Even the youngest chef in the house is engrossed x
Hattie C.
Great cookbook! Bought for my almost 2yo and have found some good recipes. You can adapt as necessary and many items already are in our pantry which is easy. They are simple with a good balance of meals. Pleased with our purchase.
Katie D.
Absolutely love this recipe book! I no longer have to spend hours scrolling through the internet to find decent recipes for my 2 year old. It's all in this feed the tribe book! I have tried the chickpea cookies and they are delicious, plus got the green light from the 2 year old. Yus! Can't wait to try more recipes. Thank you so much! :)
Briana J.
Haven’t cooked from it yet but the recipes look great! Love that there are lots of dairy free and alternative diet recipes. Thank you Julie for inspiring us with easy and quick family food!
Angelique T.
I love the smoothies & my toddler really loved the pancakes.
Next up is one of the mains :)
Erica H.
Loving the recipes we have made so far. Arrived just in time for me to fill the freezer before #2 arrives with daycare snacks which have already been a huge hit.
Elisabeth K.
I was a bit disappointed with the recipes.. a lot of them seemed similar to what you find on a google search. I ended up giving the book away to someone who appreciated it way more!
Jen M.
Have already made a few recipes and I love how simple but yummy they are!
Yeng Yeng L.
I have tried the Arjun's blender pancakes and Chocolate gummie bears (without cocoa powder). They were a hit! Initially I wasn't sure about the gummie because my girl is not a fan of coconut milk but guess what? It's all gone on the same day. I have been making this 3 days in a row now and I told my girl I can't make it anymore cause I've run out of gelatin!! Thanks Julie, for the great recipes ❤️ The next one to try will be Pumpkin and choc chip bread.
Natalie B.
I have no photos to add because the food was gone! My husband is a fabulous cook and I always get really nervous cooking for him... He is Malasysian-Chinese and has a very well-developed palate and knows how to "do" food. The recipes in Feed the Tribe were demolished in one sitting. Beans aren't usually on our menu, but they have become a firm favourite. My sixteen-year-old has asked to make the black bean brownies! Thanks Julie for a fabulous book that has very wide appeal and tastes yum. When I am a Nana, there will be something for me to cook for them.
Sarah G.
We love our new Feed the Tribe cookbook. So many delicious recipes like this pumpkin chocolate chip loaf. I love knowing that anything I cook/bake will be nutritious and fill little tummies. A long time fan or Dr Julie's and all her work. Highly recommend.
Jo H.
Love love love this book - every recipe is amazing and has been a life saver in figuring out some new mela ideas for my toddler and me.
Olivia T.
Already tried a couple of recipes and both were yum. Can't wait to try more
